14th November 2021, Getting there… finally
So the construction continues, and today is about finishing off the walls. It may not all get done today, but things are coming together. Because of the space considerations we have had to use the pallet as a kind of stepping stone for the external wall.
As you can see in the second picture the internal walls are the same height and hence the box is the same depth all round, just there was insufficient space for the whole length wall.
All the double skin walls are almost complete, just the one to go.
As we get closer to the finishing post, so the excitement to get things complete grows. Still plenty to do, now we are desperately searching for the padding materials to help insulate the box and provide some protection against the cold.
